Netflix viewers rave over ’10/10′ thriller series that’s so gripping they’re ‘watching it all in one night’

An “intriguing” Netflix series, perfect for a one-night binge, is being hailed as a “10/10” must-watch.

If Tom Hardy’s latest Netflix release left you feeling a bit overwhelmed, don’t worry—this limited series is just the palate cleanser you need.

Created by Stephen Belber and co-showrun by V. J. Boyd, the show features a standout cast including Colman Domingo (The Color Purple), Marsha Stephanie Blake (When They See Us), and Gabrielle Graham (The Expanse).

With just one season so far, the eight-episode series follows CNN media pundit Muncie Daniels (played by Domingo), who discovers a body in the woods of Pennsylvania—setting off a spiral of escalating chaos.

Premiering on November 28, 2024, the show has quickly sparked a wave of reactions across social media.

Consider your evening plans canceled.

The thriller—fittingly titled The Madness—was posted in the LADbible Facebook group Netflix Bangers, where one user asked fellow members how they would rate the series.

One Facebook user wrote: “Just finished The Madness—10/10, absolutely awesome, no skips, full of intense feels… Highly recommend!”

Another user commented: “I’m watching it right now. 10/10. Highly recommend.”

A third said: “It’s definitely a slow burn, but totally binge-worthy.”

A fourth added: “Binge-watched this today—absolutely brilliant.”

And a fifth commented: “I was at the edge of my seat and binge watched all of it. I highly recommend it!”

But will there be a second season?

In an interview with Deadline about his future as an actor and the series, Domingo shared that he’s “very conscious” of “making a difference” and “doing things that matter in the world.”

“I can see the direction of my work very clearly because I’m very mindful of it. I’m not just going to take the next role that offers me more access, money, or a bigger platform,” he explained.

Although nothing has been officially confirmed, when asked about the possibility of a second season, Domingo said: “Honestly, I don’t often say this about any show because I like to take things one step at a time—enjoying great moments in a show and then moving on to something else.

“But with this show, I think there’s more to Muncie’s story. I’d really love to explore a Season 2, so we’ll see if audiences believe there’s more for him. I hope people watch.”

The Madness is available for streaming on Netflix now.
