Anonymous has once again taken aim at Elon Musk, issuing a stark statement about the world’s richest man following his recent call to reduce tariffs between the United States and Europe.
The infamous hacking collective has been a vocal critic of both Musk and U.S. President Donald Trump in recent months, using their social media platforms to issue multiple warnings and accusations.
They’ve accused the pair of working to “undermine democracy,” referenced Trump’s alleged “Project Russia,” and engaged in repeated clashes with Musk over his political and economic stances.
Now, amid reports that Musk is planning to step away from government involvement, Anonymous has renewed its warnings—urging the public to remain vigilant and block any future initiatives from the billionaire tech mogul.
“Elon is on his way out—don’t let this freak slip out of the United States now that the damage is done,” reads the latest statement from Anonymous. “After Europe signaled it may impose heavy penalties on him and his companies, he suddenly changed his tune. And after his flop in Wisconsin, he’s lost his usefulness to MAGA as well.”
The post is accompanied by a widely shared video of Musk calling for the suspension of tariffs between the U.S. and Europe, advocating for the creation of a full free trade zone.
While Musk frames the argument as a general political stance, his push likely reflects concerns over Tesla’s declining stock value—something not helped by high tariffs on exports to some of its biggest markets.
Furthermore, Musk’s impending exit from his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—a position tied to his status as a special government employee—comes amid reports of his failed attempt to sway Wisconsin’s Supreme Court vote, despite offering controversial $1 million “prizes.” The underwhelming results have reportedly cast a shadow over his influence and effectiveness in the role.

Speculation indicates that Musk’s failure in Wisconsin has played a part in his departure from government
Anonymous is now speculating that Elon Musk, by adopting a more favorable stance toward Europe, is seeking a soft landing after his departure from U.S. politics. They warn that the global community must not allow the billionaire to “escape” the consequences of his actions, which they claim continue to significantly impact the United States.
“Hold him accountable for everything he did,” urges one reply to Anonymous’ post, while another user argues, “Why not let him leave? It’s better if he goes—his lies will be over, and American taxes can return to Americans.”
Another commenter adds more bluntly, “Let him leave, please. If I never see his face again, it’ll be too soon.”
In a follow-up message, Anonymous declared, “Musk is out, Trump will be the first to draw blood,” suggesting Musk’s political exit is imminent and hinting at deeper turmoil to come.
