Tiger Woods has cleared up the rumors surrounding his relationship status after weeks of speculation.
The golfing icon shared a heartfelt message on social media to confirm his relationship with Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law.
On Sunday, Woods posted on Instagram, saying, “Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey together. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for those close to our hearts.”
Woods also shared two images of them together, with one of them showing them cuddling on a garden chair.
Vanessa was previously married to the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., between 2005 and 2018.

Vanessa also posted one of the photos of herself and Woods on her Instagram story, though she chose not to add a caption.
As expected, social media users had plenty to say about the announcement.
Many fans offered their congratulations and best wishes, with one Twitter user writing, “I treasure you both. I pray that you receive all the blessings God has for you. Please keep your relationship private and ignore the haters, especially on this platform.”
Another user commented, “Happy for you both! Forget the negativity—focus on having fun and enjoying life together. That’s all that really matters.”

However, some users questioned why the couple was requesting “privacy” after making a public announcement about their relationship.
In response, some of their supporters stepped in to provide an explanation, sparing the couple from having to address it themselves.
One person wrote, “Several replies ask why formalize an announcement and then request privacy. The answer to this is quite simple.”
Another commenter added, “For those questioning this post, he’s likely confirming their relationship while asking for privacy to enjoy it without dealing with negativity, hate, or constant questions. I think it’s a sweet gesture, and I know the Trump family cares for both of them. I wish them the best.”
This makes sense—seems like they want the world to know they’re together and for the speculation to finally stop so they can enjoy their relationship privately.
